Geocache Description:

Another cache in The Nature Conservancy Beaver Brook Preserve in Boxborough. Round trip from suggested parking is just under 2 miles. Container is a small lock-n-lock (small trading items only please).

This is one of my favorite spots to go for a lunchtime (or pre-work) hike. I first learned of the location when I found mredden's Beaver Brook cache (Boxborough's first geocache!). The Beaver Brook cache page has a nice description of the trail and the surrounding landscape. Well worth reading prior to your hike.

I added Gas Saver II back in October of 2005 in hopes of showing others this nice area. I'm now adding a third cache around the midway point of the hike from the trailhead to the Beaver Brook cache. If you haven't had the chance to seek out the Beaver Brook and/or Gas Saver II caches you'll now have the opportunity to find three caches from one parking spot.

Please be careful to replace the container (and any necessary camo) exactly as you found it.
