A nice hike along the Shad Bay trail, just under 8.5km(round trip)
This cache is not to be attempted during archery competitions as
you must pass by way of the shooting areas. If the clubhouse is
open please check in before starting this cache. This cache was
placed on my way to CasheKicker's Flight of the Osprey to Holmar
Marsh cache(GCQ74Q) to entice others to enjoy this nice location.
The total distance for this cache is just under 8.5km and should
take around 2 1/2hrs. If you havn't already done GCQ74Q it will add
about 1 km to your hike. Please refer to CK's GCQ74Q cache page for
lots of great track points along the way. I have added the parking
coords, trailhead coords and the coords for the fork in the trail
below. Be sure to turn RIGHT at the fork and continue along the
trail. No bushwacking is required. This cache was placed as part of
the 2007 winter placement challenge.
