A small cache that will hold small swaps and tb,s
This small wood is known locally as Crippins wood. It is said that a haunted house once stood on this land and to this day the ghost of a cat can be seen prowling around the trees. This is the site of the Bryn Hall coal pit that at one time employed 100's or workers.
The owner of the pit was called Crippins and the locals, to this day call it Crippens lane and Crippins wood.
The land is basically flat in this area and you can see many Wigan landmarks from here. Haigh Hall and Trencherfield Mill to name 2.
Bryn Hall is the big White house just a little further down the path from the cache area.
It is very muddy around here and there are some rather deep pools of water so take care or risk very wet feet.
If anyone gets the chance to photograph Bryn Hall I would love to see it on your'e logs. I didnt get a photo of it grrrrr. Not like Lolly I hear pup say!! LOL
The area can get busy with mugglers so please rehide the cache with care
