Geocache Description:

Easy walk down a paved walkway.

Park at the Spring Street Ocmulgee Heritage Trail Trailhead and it's an easy walk to the cache.
Views of the Ocmulgee here are spectacular, and historic Rose Hill Cemetery is across the river with a good view of Soldier's Square. Soldier's Square was set aside after the Civil War for more than 600 Confederate soldiers. Cross the river bridge to the cemetery and visit Duane Allman's and Berry Oakely's gravesites, among many more famous folk's graves.
When the river is low, there are a couple of sandbars you can walk out on on your way to the cache.
