It was about -20 DegC on the day C&C and I decided to go for a hike out for some caches. Decided this would be a good trail to go for as there were a couple caches along the way we had not yet found.
A good spot for an emergency shelter grabbed my attention for this location. Should one find themselves way out here and in need of a place to shelter for the night one would do well here. The location is located on the power line trail and situated overlooking the brook that connects Big Cranberry and Flat Lakes. For this cache you will be looking for a Marine Smoke Marker container. It is cradled in a nearby tree and painted to blend in with its surroundings. Following the power lines will be easy walking but there are a few water hazards that may pose as a challenge. Needless to say they were all pretty frozen for our trek today.
