I photographed this beauty on one of the trails at the Outdoor
Discovery Center (ODC) while hiking with my family. The name of
this butterfly is scrambled below.
Extra letters have been added, so the name will be shorter than
shown. To get the cache coordinates, you just need to discard the
extra letters and then unscramble the remaining letters to spell
the butterfly's name. Some of the letters have numbers associated
with them. Each number stays with its associated letter when you
unscramble the name. In other words, you are unscrambling the
coordinates as well. If you discard a letter, discard the
associated number.
When you have unscrambled the name, substitute the associated
numbers in order (left to right) for A-H in the coordinates listed
below.

This cache is on the grounds of the Outdoor Discovery Center
(ODC), a 120 acre nature preserve dedicated to conservation and
education. It was placed with the permission and approval of the
ODC staff. Not only did the staff allow the cache, but they
encouraged the placement of it to provide another outdoor
recreational opportunity to the public and to bring people to the
ODC. No bushwhacking is required - the cache is located along one
of the trails.
More information about the ODC can be found at
