Geocache Description:

Bugraiders went first seeking for this cache hide spot back in early January 2007. On that day it was a balmy day in the 60's maybe a bit warmer. Bugraiders finally placed this cache on a COLD day in late January when the temperature hovered in single digits. This got bugraiders thinking on the name if this cache.

West Thompson lake is the the home of West Thompson Dam (visit link)
This is a wonderful recreation area for all seasons. Summers for fishing, boating and hiking. Winters for ice fishing, hunting and winter hiking. Of course, all seasons are good for a little caching.

Enter the recreation area from Reardon Road. Parking is at N 41 57.205 W 071 53.957. Walk is less than .25 miles. Fun for all geocachers. Cache is in large ammo box. Not far off a trail. Keep a mind of hunting season and wear appropriate safety clothing. The following link is for CT hunting season dates. (visit link) Cache is for trade items and travel bug swapping. Please recover well as muggles are abundant. There is a nearby letter box that Bugraiders stumbled on by accident.
