How Geocaching Works

Welcome to New Hampshire. Please enjoy your stay!
You will find a nice picnic area here with a few tables near the Visitor Center. This cache is snow friendly but you may need boots!
WeatherednBoston placed this cache here in 2007. She said she likes NH because of the tax free shopping. She said she usually gets off at Exit 1 which is the next exit and last exit before the tolls. Today, there is a brand new shopping plaza in Seabrook that is accessed easily by turning right at the end of the Exit 1 ramp.
I like NH because of our 14 miles of seacoast. My favorite Sunday drive is along the coast road, Route 1A, stopping along the way in one of the many pull-off parking areas to enjoy the view!
A few years ago this cache became the Most "Found" Geocache in all of New Hampshire because of its easy access and the large number of travelers who drive this route between Canada and Florida. I am pleased to be able to help continue the tradition by maintaining this cache for WeatherednBoston. Thanks to WeatherednBoston for allowing me to adopt this cache!
Currently, the cache container is a cammoed pill bottle with new log sheets. Don't forget to bring a pen with you. There is a pen is conveniently located nearby but it does go missing occasionally. No excuses for not being able to sign the log, which is the only requirement to claim this find! ;-)
And no need to remove the cache container from it's hiding spot. Simply remove the cover, sign the log and then replace the cover. The regular hiding spot is NOT on the ground! If you do find it on the ground please send me a note. Thank you!
Please watch your step when approaching the cache site. There are many fresh new ferns and wildflowers growing here now. Already some have been trampled. Please step around them and not on them. Thank you!
Safe travels and Happy Geocaching!
