Kiersolvd: I checked on this cache after two unsuccessful searches. I too could not locate it. Fourteen years is long enough for this cache to be listed. Thanks to everyone who looked back here.
Just a note on this location. When I first placed a cache here, it was winter and small alder ringed the pond, hiding it from view of the road. The area that the cache was placed was typical undergrowth, mostly sword ferns. The mysterious fence was in good shape. Over the years, the fence has fallen down, blackberries have moved in, the trees were cut down. Whilst checking it out this morning, a Parks employee had a was mowing down the slope next to the pond with a rather cool, remote controlled vehicle with big mowing blades. It was almost big enough to be driven, but it was much safer to stand back and watch it work the slope. Very cool!
