Congratulations: CoreyNJoey for the FTF!! Nicely Done.
I have brought the dogs to this park several times since I tried to find “A Gilmur of Hope” (archived GCMDXG) and now it is time to bring a fun multi-cache to this little, lake park tucked away in Fircrest. It is also time to start the series: Some Redeeming Value! (Parking on street)
OhJoy! started a series call NRV back in the Spring of 2005 (GCNQMM - NRV Spawn: In Memory of The Mother Lode and one for the South area GCNPYR). I thought this was a great idea: You find the cache and inside are the tools to start a new cache, one of your choosing.
We have all found caches which are nothing more than a number on a stat page. That’s fine: Everyone experiences the hunt differently. However, I want a series that has Some Redeeming Value. Here are the rules: Let the trip to your cache have something interesting about it. Does it have a nice view, nice walk, local history, you know....something. That’s it. That's all.
I picked this park because it is a nice place for a quick walk with the dogs and it has plaques describing the habitat. Take a stroll and do some reading. It does a body good. I will keep the cache stocked with cache supplies so you may spawn your own. I will probably stop at 20 caches, since I can only eat so many Altoids but you never know. FTF gets the pick of the litter and a Starbucks card.
