What Lignumaqua Loves About South Austin Mystery Cache

Austin is way too hot to grow the kind of plants and flowers that my wife and I grew up with back in England. Xeriscaping may be good for the environment but there's only so much you can do with shades of green and brown.

One of the things that makes South Austin cool is the extreme lengths that some people go to to make their gardens interesting. You may not be able to use the same variety of plants that you find elsewhere in more temperate climates but there's nothing to stop your imagination running riot with layout and landscaping.

The garden pictured is a great example in South Austin (of course!) of what imagination, hard work and a certain amount of quirkiness can do.

To get the real cache coordinates you'll have to solve a puzzle based on this same picture. Stand at the cache coordinates and you will have a perfect view of this garden.
