Geocache Description:

A simple two-stage in Wye Island NRMA.

  Earth  
  According to Empedocles, a Greek philosopher, scientist, and healer who lived in Sicily in the fifth century B.C., all matter is comprised of four "roots" or Elements of: Earth, Air, Fire and Water (Greek classical elements).

This cache was originally placed by the Elves.  This cache, representing Earth, is located in the Wye Island NRMA. At the posted coordinates you will find the Wye Island Holly Tree which is older than the United States. Look for a sign stating the tree's age and use the following to calculate the location of the cache:

xx = 160/number of centuries the tree has been alive (whole number)
yy = (age of tree/5) + 23
