Geocache Description:

This cache is not hidden at the above coordinates, but on Conanicut Island near Beavertail Light. Heavily visited, especially in the Summer months, it is one of the most scenic spots in all of Rhode Island. There is already a cache here, but we always thought there should be another hide so that visitors could spend a little more time in the area. We just didn't want to make it too easy.

The cache is just within sight of the blinking beacon. But you'll have to walk past many rocks and sticks in the area. Follow this pattern and you'll find the cache:

Stick rock stick rock rock stick, stick stick rock stick stick, stick rock rock rock rock stick rock stick stick

Wait...you're only halfway there!

Stick rock rock rock stick stick stick, stick stick rock rock rock, rock, stick stick rock stick rock

The cache container is a standard ammo box filled with the typical SWAG and a small FTF prize. It is well-concealed, so take special care to replace it as it was hidden. Watch your footing at the cache site.

Once you've found the cache, feel free to continue exploring the area. There are many cliffs and hidden coves along the walk which could be fun to explore during the Summer months. Simple benches have been placed in the more scenic spots for folks not limber enough to scramble up and down rocks.
