County Cache
This is the tenth in a series of twenty-one
caches that will be placed in each of New Jersey’s 21 counties.
This one completes the
Mercer County requirement. This cache is hidden in the
secluded and somewhat desolate
Curlis Lake Woods Nature
Preserve, Hopewell Township. A certain number of people
completing the Dizz-Knee challenge will be given a new,
commemorative geocaching coin, trackable on geocaching.com,
unactivated, with its own unique icon.

County Cache Facts:
I was off from work today as was Melcrim, so we decided to head
North and see what there was to see. I knew I had to get busy
placing the rest of my Dizz-Knee caches so I decided that Mercer
County would be next on the list. The first thing I did was visit a
cache in the immediate area, .24 miles from my cache. The cache I
chased down, Three Pillars of Curlis
Lake by hopsgang,
was to satisfy Melcrim's Mercer County requirement for the Tour
De Cache. This cache is apprximately .5 miles from the trailhead
coordinates (as the crow flies) while mine is .26 miles from the
trailhead.
My cache isn't that difficult of a find but
you need to bring gloves and perhaps a pair of snips as the thorns
are too much in some places. Watch the stickers as they surround
and protect this cache. The readings we took had a 10 foot degree
of accuracy/error. We also saw a whole mess of birds including
cardinals, a jay and some other guys whose name I do not know.
