Well, after hiding 'Watch out for the dragon', we realised that
we knew where (at least one of) the dragons really were. This
dragon has been a favourite with my son ever since we first found
it, and we thought we would introduce him to any cachers that he
hasn't met yet. In particular, he likes to give kids rides, so I
recommend bringing the junior cachers along, and be sure to leave a
photo with your log.
Unfortunately he appears to have been caged in recently for the
benefit of other fire breathers, but if you come outside normal
visiting hours you should be able to stay smoke free.
When we visited this dragon recently, he had this to say:
If you wish to find my treasure you must face true
south and turn 11 times the number of claws on one of my feet
degrees towards the west. You must then fly 100 metres for every
letter in my sculptor's first name and an additional metre for
every bump upon my spine that is behind my wings. I have hidden my
treasure where you can step up to see my eyes in play.
Note that this is the second version of this cache, and I have
put this up as a new cache rather than editing the old one as the
new cache is entirely different from before. Also note that
bearings are true and not magnetic.
