This is a 1 of set of 4 caches located in the beautiful Llangwyfan Forest.
The forest stretches out for 85 hectares and is located close to Penycloddiau Bronze Age Hill Fort. On clear days there are great views across the Vale of Clwyd. There are a couple of bridleways which cross the area which is popular with horse riders and mountain bikers alike.
The caches are each placed on one of the 4 paths stretching out from the recommended parking area. Each one can be done individually or if you have a little longer you can follow each of the paths to locate them all.
This cache is along the higher of the main paths from the car park but lower than the Offa’s Dyke path. Your looking for a regular lok n lok box hidden in a camo bag.
BE WARNED FINDING THIS CACHE CAN BE PAINFUL IF YOU LOOK IN THE WRONG PLACE. IT IS ADVISABLE TO WEAR GLOVES AND LONG TROUSERS.
Be aware that there are some steep drops in the area so care should be taken with little ‘uns and animals. By seeking this or any other cache placed by myself or maintained by me you accept responsibility for your own safety. Caching can be dangerous.
