White Owl is named for the beautiful creature I, twice, disturbed from it’s perch as I roamed around the site. Not being a “birder”, my guess is a Barn Owl.
This is not a long hike. After a short walk on pavement you arrive at a trail that takes you along a dike above the marshes. Soon you will see a lone stand of Eucalyptus. Stepping off the dike you go through a pleasant grove where you are stopped by a creek.
