PARKING: Parking available near the end of Meadowlily Road South. There are two entrances to trails, one on either side of the road. Take the entrance at: 42 58.277N / 081 11.217W (near the black mailbox #25).

MEADOWLILY WOODS, consisting of over 135 hectars is situated within a glacial spillway carved meltwater from the last glacier. The woods is characterized by forested slopes and ravines which cut through three distinct terraces formed at the end of the ice age. Plant life consist of Red and White Trilliums, Trout-Lilies, Hepatica, Wild Ginger and a dozen species of ferns. If you venture quietly, you may encounter a Red-tailed Hawk, Raccoon, Great Horned Owl, Warbler, Red Fox, White-Tailed Deer, Eastern Redback Salamander and other critters.
