Geocache Description:

Easy, at one end of Pacific Ave.

Great place to watch boats, birds, and sunsets; you can even go fishing (we wouldn't eat them). Crew races and practices happen in the creek and the channel. When you get to the cache location, look across the Marina del Rey main channel. Pacific Avenue used to go to the other side, after crossing Ballona Creek on the bridge. LA County didn't want to build a drawbridge when they built the marina in the 1950's, so this is now a dead end.

This cache used to be "... Gently Down the Stream" but we replaced that one and used the old container (a pill bottle) for this one.

It's in a high muggle area. Difficulty rating reflects the muggle problem, otherwise it's easy. If it lasts, we may replace it with a bigger container.

Update 6/08: It's a year or more old now; but there's no room for larger container.

There's free parking less than 1/4 mile away, and a pay lot even closer. Take your bike and get other caches on the bike path.
