Geocache Description:

Cache can be found in the area of an old ghost town. Parking is in the Dunns Creek State Park Blue Pond walk in area. There is no fee.

This cache is within one of Florida's new State Parks. The park occupies 6,222 acres and over 20 diverse natural communities. The park has been used for centuries by native americans, then loggin and turpentining, most recently as a hunting camp prior to becomming a State park. All that remains of the ghost town are a few roads and sterile sites where house used to be. The following info was found online under "Florida Ghost Towns."

"Apparantly in 1870 Sisco was founded by a colony of 7th Day Adventists. The descendants of Reverand Main still live in the area. The demise of the town was caused by the freeze of 1895. Submitted by: Mike Woodfin"

Remember this is a State Park stay on trails, do not remove any artifacts, follow park rules as posted in the parking area. You will not neet to bushwack to find this cache. It is located a few feet off the sandy road (trail) in a fairly open area.
