Geocache Description:

This is the yet another of many caches set by the 4 Play Off-Roaders for the enjoyment of cache hunters and 4x4 explorers.

This cache is in a Sterlite container and at the time of placement contains:
2 Hand warmers
2 Battery Operated Light Sticks
Super Ace Glider
Geo-Compass
Magic Towel
Card Game
And for the FTF: A United for Diabetes Travel Bug, and a 4 Play Off-Roaders just released Silver Cherokee TB.
And the usual notepad, and pencil, to log your visit.

With the placement of this cache as with most of the 4 Play Off-Roaders hides, a 4x4 may most likely be required to get through this area! I have rated Terrain as a 5 just for this reason. Be prepared for the worst possible conditions. Travel in this area is not advised after measurable rain, or after a wet winter. Be prepared to extract yourself from the mud at any time of year, wet or dry.

When approaching this area, there are many options for getting to the area including crossing a stream (where the bridge is gone) with water that flows year round, sometimes impassible for any vehicle due to releases from the Sheckler Inlet. To crossing a bridge North of cache placement (I will list hint), to open desert if approaching from the west. Be advised there is every possible terrain encountered in a short travel area. Remember the Rules of Off-Roading! Tread Lightly, and never 4 wheel with just one rig. Bring a buddy along with his rig and get someone else interested in the hobby.

Remember to dress for the season, and bring extra water and snacks. The water in the stream is not potable. It is possible to hike to the area from the parking area near where the bridge used to be, but be careful due to uneven water depth as this stream is at least 4’ deep when running full during some of the summer months. Due to the many trails in the area, it’s also suggested to use the track feature on your GPS so that you can backtrack your way back the way you came.

Practice Cache-in, Trash-out!
