Geocache Description:

Due to two mugglings in as many days, the cache has had to be resited at the above coordinates. My sincerest apologies to anyone attempting this cache with the old coordinates. Please make sure it is not visible from any angle when you rehide it. 23-Feb-2007

This was the sixth of the original series of 6 caches that made up The Valley series. The series has been extended during the 2nd half of 2007. This cache has had a name change (20/9/07), it was originally called "The Valley 6 (Vulcan)". Nothing else has changed (same cache, same place etc).
This is another easy hide, which doesn't really warrant a hint, though I have included one. Hidden just off the path. Paths can be muddy. This is the last of a series of 6 caches

Please be careful next to the canal, if you have small children.

Next to the Northern part of the Sankey Canal, near to Vulcan Village. This stretch has water in it. There are frequent fishing matches along this stretch at weekends, usually lasting til 1 or 2pm.
