Geocache Description:

A short walk through Almondell and Calderwood Country Park

This is a simple cache in this charming country park. It is fairly close to a path so please be careful of muggles.

This cache is closest to the North carpark (N 55 54.671 W 003 27.393), but if you park at the south carpark ( N55 53.891 W 003 27.201) you could combine this cache easily with Almondell: Bridge over Bridge over bridge... and Mines a Larch One.

The cache is placed in such a way that you are likely to get wet if you are not agile enough so be careful! GPS reception is not the best in the trees so I have included a helpful clue and a spoiler photo.

Please take note of the number in the lid - you will need this to help you find A Sneaky Wee Bonus Cache

The cache is near to a bridge dedicated to Nelson Mandela and also close to the park shop - please notice the very tame deer on the lawn .
