Geocache Description:


I have driven by here and always wanted to place a cache at this spot. I have teamed up with some friends to try to help promote the Creeper Trail and also Trail Days more than it already is and this is part of my contribution. This is the point where the Appalachian Trail converges with the VA Creeper Trail. The combination of these trails makes Damascus, VA a true gold mine for the outdoorsy person. Whether you're in town to enjoy the beuaty of the VA Creeper Trail, the Appalachian Trail, Trail Days or for no reason at all, I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy the caches we're placing in the area.

Since parking is limited along this section of the highway, I would suggest this be found while biking the Creeper Trail.

It's all about the fun!!!!
