Sand Hollow State
Park
With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah’s
newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat and fish on
Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain
on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in the new
campground.
Park entrance gates closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., please plan

The Cache
Along the east shore are small dunes and desert vegetation.
Rabbits, lizards and waterfowl make this area their home. Travel
3.1 miles from the Sand Hollow Visitor’s Center along the Shore
Road, this geocache site is between the road and the beach, its
provides a panoramic view of the reservoir and Sand Mountain.
Please do not leave trade items in the cache. Just take a small
souvenir and sign the log book. Stop back often to check for other
souvenirs.
