Mamas Know Best Traditional Cache

JustKeely: It had a good run, but if there is new construction in the area, no use in fighting to keep it alive. Roll with the changes!

Geocache Description:

Hidden close to a place to grab some geocaching supplies.

Our small group, consisting of a handful of women geocachers from the north side of Houston and sometimes including our children, like to go caching together whenever we can. Our regular friday dates have been a time to power cache, gab, and grab lunch while sharing TBs, coins, and stories from our lives. It seemed that the women with the Garmin Etrex GPS units were having a much easier time than a particular cacher who was struggling with an old Magellan that only half the buttons worked on. This particular one (oh me, for pete's sakes) could not use the arrow or goto functions, nor could use downloaded coordinates. So Mama Georeynozos and Mama Popeteer took this poor Mama here to this store for "supplies" and surprised her with a new refurb Garmin Etrex of her very own, with a downloading cord and everything so she would no longer be struggling to match the grid with her piece of paper! To commemorate the occasion, the trio of Mamas hid a cache they readily assembled and hid it nearby. They each grabbed some swag, some bugs, made up a log out of what was handy, and then Mama Hardings had her first lesson in how to use the Garmin to mark a location. Hope you have as much fun finding it as we did hiding it!
