Cache located on State Game Lands. All rules and Regs. in effect. Bring your walking stick and wear hiking shoes. Be careful with the kids and with people who are not sure footed. This is NOT a walk in a town park along a pathed trail!!!
I,ve been waiting for a long time for a cache like this to pop up in the area. A cache to remind me of why I started doing this in the first place. A cache where you actually turn the car off, put on your hiking shoes and go for a walk. A cache that is found with stamina instead of stealth. Where one counts deer and squirrels and turkey instead of people and cars and distractions. A cache where one can be alone (yes I cache alone)!! I'm tring to contend myself with the explosion of park and grab in the city caches that have been showing up lately but it's just not working. So, if no one else is gonna hide one I guess I will. The walk is only about .5mi round trip because this Gamelands is so narrow. There are briars and many of them depending on the time of year and your approach but those of you with Stately Tree under your belts should not mind. There are boulder size rocks and you really need to be careful!!! Watch the kids if you really want to bring them. There are kid oriented trades inside the Tupperware container for you to bring back to them but this is more of a feel good YEAH! I got it type of find. Have and enjoy the grand view but above all be CAREFUL!!
