This cache has been archived.

Tollybrew: It looks like this one got washed away. Instead of replacing this in a dicey spot I have created a new hide that will come out after it get approved by MDC.

Geocache Description:

Located at the August A. Busch Conservation Area

There used to be a couple a nice caches along the 3 mile hiking trail at August A. Busch Conservation Area. They were some of the first caches I ever did. This is a great area for a hike so I placed a couple of new caches with that in mind.

This is an ammo box placed close to the 3 mile hiking trail. You can hit both caches and make a nice hike out of it. The trail is generally flat and well packed consisting of former gravel roads. This cache is located near an old bridge that is off the trail. This area may get quite overgrown during the summer months.

Missouri Department of Conservation Geocahing Guildlines:
1) The Conservation Area is open to multiple public uses including hunting, fishing, and hiking;
2) Trespass onto adjacent private property is not permitted and trespass complaints may result in revocation of this permit;
3) Geocaches are allow on the August A. Busch Conservation Area by Special Use Permit only;
4) Searching for geocaches is strongly discouraged during managed deer and turkey hunts (contact the Area Manager for specific dates);
5) Persons searching for geocaches during firearms deer season and firearms turkey season are strongly encouraged to wear hunter orange.

I would like to thank John Vogel for his help in approving this cache.
