Geo golf anyone? Try hole #3 of the Silverado Geo-golf Course. Don't forget to log your score! These are the coordinates for the virtual tee for this geo-golf hole.

The Silverado Golf and Country Club of Napa, California has an indirect connection to us. Our team is named Silverado (Ag ... chemical symbol for silver). Hole #3 of the Silverado South GC in Napa is a 197 yd. par 3 ... so is hole #3 of this Geo-golf course (long iron into a well protected green).

The listed coordinates are for the third tee. You will find yourself on the north side of Via Rio Temecula Rd. in Temecula. Along the south side of the road are hundreds of metal fence posts topped by metal caps. The cache container is an M&M tube stuck in the top of the post under of one of those caps. Take care in accessing the green area. Please don't trample the ground cover.

Your goal is to find the correct cap with the fewest attempts (just like real golf!). From the tee find the post which is closest to .11 miles (197 yards) and 243° true(roughly SW)from the tee.

The cap with the cache is loose. Be careful of the sharp tines on the fence! Keep track of how many pulls it takes to find the cache. Please don't push the container down into the post when replacing it. Cache contains log/scorecard only. Enter your score on the card and report it when you log in.
