Geocache Description:

A nice easy traditional cache all the family can enjoy.

Most weeks I travel Menangle Rd and as I pass this spot the toil and effort of those that came before me always amazes me. Have a look at the water canal just by the cache and spare a thought as to what must have been involved in creating this early infrastructure.

Think again about what amount of water would be retained if we were smarter than handing so much of our precious drinking water over to evaporation!!!! Hope you enjoy the find.
