I walk around this 1.6 mile man-made Reservoir in Brick,NJ every day. This used to be a sand and gravel pit that went unused. It now serves water to more than 100,000 people from this 120 acre site. The Reservoir is open daily from 8-6. It is closed on Mondays and Holidays. It is a very well maintained area, please respect all areas. The clues require no trespassing on grass or rocks. The final stage requires minial bushwacking.
This is a multi-cache. First stage you will find half of the coordinates for location of the cache(known as stage 3). The second stage you will find the second half of coordinates for the location of stage 3 cache. Stealth will be a problem as there are always people around.
The cache is dedicated to all that New Jersey is. A lot of people have been born and raised in NJ and gone on to become famous. Bruce Springsteen,Frank Sinatra, Al Leiter,Albert Einstein,etc. But lets not forget The JERSEY DEVIL. He made south Jersey a big hit around October of every year. We also have the Jersey Shore with some of the cleanest beaches around. So, please only put Travel Bugs or stuff related to NJ in cache. Thanks. I hope to see you walking soon.
