Welcome to Rib Mountain State Park, one of the most beautiful State
Parks around. Regular State Park fees apply. This cache is approved
by the State Park! This idea came to us from our wonderful hike
through Devils Lake State Park for that cache. Unlike Devils Lake,
you won't feel like you will die if you take a wrong step, but this
will be a test of your human spirit and endurance.
This is a three part cache with the waypoint of #2 in the first
cache and #3 in the second cache. You will need to allot yourself
at least 3-4 hours of time and A LOT of water. Don't hate us after
this one, just remember we had to walk it too and Big Dog had Baby
Dog on his back. Parking area will be at N44 55.236 W89 41.055.
Take the yellow trail to start and then the red for the rest. The
first two caches are within 100 yards of the trail but the thrid
will be a hike from the trail!
After cache #1 or #2 if you need to use the restroom or re stock
your water supply, please stop up at the concession stand at N44
55.227 W89 41.596. All proceeds go back to the park for
improvements, a lot of improvements have been made since our last
visit there.
Cache #1 contains something for the whole family: 2 kids 3 power
binoculars, 2 micro super soakers, 3 bottles of bubbles, 4 "AA"

Cache #2 containes: 4 "AA" batteries, 1 wooden canoe, 1 new Top
Flite golf ball with 4 tees, 1 Life Savers ice pack, 1 kids 3 power

It is highly suggested that you bring a copy of this with you
for the clues. Have fun and good luck, Team Good Dogs. (side note:
very little bug spray is needed due to the elevation)
