A small plastic container located at a public boat dock near the
Main Street Connector bridge
This was my first cache and, as of this month, this marks two years
I've been caching. When I first placed this, this cache was at a
non-notable boat dock behind the city's department buildings. The
view was river and just that. Since I placed this cache, pylons
have erupted from the water and a bridge has been, bit by bit,
thrown right in front of the spot. There have also been numerous,
numerous names for this cache. Every season brings change, and for
me, it would be the urge to rename my first and most important
child. It would also come to be impossible to do so. So in a way,
I've stop trying. It is what it is. It's not the best cache, nor
the most interesting location. But if you need a break and want to
enjoy the tiny barrier which separates North Myrtle Beach from
rural brush (the view may change dramatically once the bridge is
complete, so take it in now), just have fun and give this one a
spin.
