About a 1.3 mile R/T from Indian Sands parking area off Hwy. 101 north of Brookings. May be combined with 'Indian Sands Cache' and BREAKER BONANZA cache.
Not only does the cache site offer a spectacular view, but the entire route to the cache is incredible, you will be compelled to slow down and savor the scenery. Park and head down the hill from the trailhead, go north at bottom of hill, your gpsr may want you to go south and that's okay if you like going off trail, bushwhacking and scrabbling. Once you are down in the sand, go toward water and start going south again. You are looking for an ammo can, spot should be pretty obvious. Walking in sand. Exposed drop offs. Slippery when wet.
