This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: Based on the response (or lack of response) to the logs posted to this cache page, it appears that the cache owner is not willing or able to respond to the issues described in the logs. Accordingly, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

This series of caches is for our Colorado geocaching friends Bob and Brenda Rich. Bob used to be caching in our area a lot but lately his trips to Southern California have been rare. To celebrate his upcoming visit, we thought we’d hide a couple of caches for him and Brenda. But only two caches really wouldn’t be enough, so we placed a few more and named them after the Rich’s pets. Then we added two more for our mutual friends and hiking partners, the PezCachers (Ken & Jill) and their pets… Now there are eight caches on a nice loop hike in Rustic Canyon – come and get them!

About the caches: They’ll lead you down into our favorite local canyon, and back up to Camp Josepho access road. Enjoy this part of historic Rustic Canyon; it’s beautiful at all times of the year! Along the way you’ll also come across some interesting remains of ‘civilization’ (visit link) The overall terrain rating of 3 is based on hiking the entire 8-cache loop. While there is PO in the canyon, you’ll have no problem if you stay on the trail(s). There is no poison oak near any of the caches in this series.

There are three other caches (GCPZFD, GCW5HC, GC734) close by.

You’re looking for decon containers with logbook, pencil and a few small trinkets.
Have fun!
