A walk up Vlakkenberg mountain. The walk starts at Silvermist Lodge and will take you to the Vlakkenberg North peak with views of Houtbay, the Back Table and Constantia Berg.
To find this cache you'll take a walk up Vlakkenberg mountain. Visited by relatively few hikers this walk is not too strenuous, does offer some great views of the surrounding area and depending on the time of year you might even get to see some colourful flowering flora too.
Park at Constantia Nek, and walk in the direction of Hout Bay. On the left hand side of the road you'll find a signpost indicating the Vlakkenberg trail. From here a path leads you to the cache.
No "bundu bashing" required. Please protect the delicate fynbos in the area.
