This is a regular tabloc container cache with usual swappable
goodies. It is named after one of the walks at the Argory.
You can choose your walking route to the cache. If you walk along
the river to the cache location it is an idea (and doesn't add to
your walking distance) to return to the parking area via the actual
Limetree Walk. From here you can see parts of the nearby
mansion and gardens and the beautiful tree lined pathway.
The cache co-ordinates were taken as an average of several
readings and should be fairly accurate. Suggested carparking at N54

Entrance to where the cache is placed is free all year round. It
is a beautiful woodland walk, suitable for all the family, but
please take extra care of children near the river. The paths may
require sturdy footwear at certain times of the year. The walk is
on flat terrain for all of the way.
If you wish you can pay to visit the actual National Trust house
at the Argory. There are several events held here throughout the
year. It is not necessary though to enter the "pay zone" to access
the cache.
To the North of Armagh City lies the Argory, a superb National
Trust house dating from the 1820's, which has remained
substantially unchanged from the turn of the century. The house is
situated in 315 acres of woodland overlooking the river Blackwater.
The house contains some fascinating furniture including a superb
1824 cabinet organ. The imposing stable yard includes a coach house
and an oxy-acetylene gas plant which was used light the house until
as recently as 1979 (paragraph, from the National Trust
website)
Please take care at the cache site and be wary of Muggles when
retrieving and replacing the cache.
