Although the above coordinates are very near the site of an "old
school", the cache is not there.
To find this cache, you need to do the following:
1. Solve the puzzle for the starting coordinates:
(Lampson) + (George Jay) + (South Park) + 467094
(Vic High: current) + (Maragret Jenkins) + 5359730
2. If you've done this correctly, you should be standing near a
plaque, which makes reference to an 'old school'.
- Note the first year on this plaque (to confirm, the four digits
should add to 22).
- From this plaque, proceed due east for a number of metres equal
to this year, minus 394.
3. If you've done this correctly, you should be standing near
yet another plaque referencing an 'old school'.
- Once again, note the first date on this plaque (to confirm, the
numbers should add to 17).
- From this second plaque, proceed on a bearing of 73 degrees T for
a distance in metres equal to the date on the plaque, minus
337.
4. You should now be standing in a small park near to another
'old school'.
You should also be standing near the cache, which may require some
stealth to retreive.
Notes:
- I'll make this easier on you by telling you that that cache is
NOT in the gaping hole (but it is very near it)
- PLEASE make sure you rehide the cache well. This is a busy
area.
This cache was hidden as part of the 3rd annual Vancouver Island
Hide n' Go Cache event.
