Partic: Unfortunately, yes, this cache has met the same demise as it's predecessors, but fortunately, it didn't have any bugs in residence at the time.

As I'm no longer living nearby, I'm going to archive the cache, and let someone else do the maintenance of a new cache if they feel that they would like to put one in place.

Geocache Description:

Departure & Arrivals Lounge for Travel Bugs heading to and from Tasmania via Spirit of Tasmania!

The purpose of this cache is to provide a reasonably convenient portal for Travel Bugs that want to head to Tasmania to get there via a trip on the Spirit of Tasmania departing from Station Pier in Port Melbourne.

The original version of this cache was far closer to Station Pier, but suitable locations have been slowly disappearing. The new location is easily accessible by car, but is also about a 1km walk from Station Pier for those on foot.

It should be fairly secure from Muggles but please make sure it’s well hidden again.

If you're taking Travel Bugs:

Leave as many TB's as you like.
Place the TB’s in the appropriate bag so that it’s easier for those in a rush:
a. Travel Bugs Bound for Tasmania
b. Travel Bugs Bound for Mainland Australia
Note the TB name & mission in the log so others will know if they can help them on their way.
Don't forget to log your TB's with your cache log.
