Geocache Description:

Geocachers of West Tennessee

This will be the first (hopefully of several) CITO events planned for GOWT in 2007.

We will be hosting the event in one of Bartlett's most geocaching friendly parks, the legendary Stanky Creek! There are ELEVEN caches in this park (maybe more?). We will be doing some basic cleanup, and if y'all bring the tools, some minor trail clearing. Don't let the terrain rating fool you, parts of the park could be as high as 4, 4 1/2 stars! Who would know that this dense jungle would sit right in the middle of such a large suburban town? There are eight miles of trails in this park! There are actually loops that, if you don't make the right turns, you'd never get out of here! The one consolation is that, if you get lost, just head south and you'll eventually get to Yale Road!

Please post a note if you plan to attend, and what tools you can bring. Stabby sticks, gloves, extra trash bags (we have at least 20 official CITO bags), and a chainsaw would be helpful. If someone wants to bring donuts, well, we won't turn you down!

We will start around 9:30 and wrap up in time for Tuck Sackett's 1K event nearby!
