Flatcoat Walker: I visited this one today, and I have decided to archive it, as there is a lot of building work taking place nearby, and the cache area is not very picturesque. Also the hiding place now has a large fallen branch looming over the top of it.

Geocache Description:

I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series over the next few months.

All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.

This old watermill, on the edge of East Grinstead, has been turned into a pub. The mill stream still runs right underneath the building, and there is a moving water wheel at the back of the pub, but I am not sure that it is being driven by the water. There is plenty of parking nearby. The micro is hidden a little way along a public footpath.
