Geocache Description:

This is a park and grab. You can't get to much easier than this one. You will looking for a Decon container(about the size of a band aid box)with room for small trade items. You might want to bring your own pen just in case. You can sign the back of the stash note as a log sheet.

For the last 10 years my parents have been going to Port Aransas Texas (visit link) every winter. We try and go visit them every Christmas if we can. This is a great place to get away from the cold Kansas winters.

Lots of sun,sandy beaches, laid back Island lifestyles. Also Lots of Palm Trees.

I have always wanted to see about bringing back a Palm Tree to Kansas and plant in my back yard. But everyone says they won't survive the harsh Kansas winters. So I guess bringing one home is out of the question.

But over the last couple years I have seen these Kansas Palm trees pop up just east of the cache. So I guess if I want a Palm Tree in my backyard, this is how I will have to go about it.

I was told that they build them here and sell them all over the U.S. If you are willing to pay the price.
