OK, compared to the Mississippi river that runs through the town
where I grew up (Minneapolis), the San Diego river is barely a
stream. But it's one of the biggest and prettiest rivers around
these parts so we might as well make the most of it! This cache is
in honor of this lovely "river".
The cache just off a nice little paved trail that runs along the
river in Mission Valley. This particular stretch of the trail is
easily accessible at either end from the trailheads listed below.
Cache is a camoed lock 'n' lock container. It is only about 10 feet
off the paved trail at the base of a triple-trunk tree whose bark
is falling off.
