Geocache Description:

This is a two part cache. First go to the coordinates listed above then go to a point, magnetic bearing 142 degrees for 533 feet to the cache.

The container is a CLEAN plastic "Powerbait" bottle once used by fishermen at this vista. It contains a log with the Geocache letter, a "Where's George" one dollar bill, a mini light stick, some foreign coins and some stickers. The cache is suspended but easy to access. Sorry the cache is not wheelchair accessible but the view from the coordinates is and the view of Sugar Loaf Mountain from the cache site is quite nice. This fishing hole is previous home of the world record German Brown Trout. A replica of the fish and the story to go with it can be found in the "Little Red Fly Shop" located near the coordinates. More information on the "Missing Bridge" may be found at the Swinging Bridge Boat Dock. On the wall is an article from the "Sun Times" dated Friday October 29,1999. Ten years after the tragic accident that killed five and injured 20. While you are here, visit the Turtle Back Rock cache(GC1206Z), the Stumping Ground cache(GCZYH5), Who is Josh? cache(GCG7EN)and the Buckeye Bluff cache (GC10QTM).
