Geocache Description:

YELLOWBIRD is one in a series of caches with the same theme! It is located a few yards from one of the many hiking trails along The Augusta Canal. No bushwhacking will be needed.

This cache contains nothing but information needed to get a clue to another one of my caches "PHINIZY BIRDWATCH". Be sure to jot down the clue if you also plan to search for Phinizy Birdwatch.

Unless you have better than 20/20 eyesight, you might want to bring along a pair of binoculars!

The log is in a seperate container located near the cache.
Don't worry, you can't miss it! Please sign the log and e-mail me the "code word" written on the cache itself. This way I'll know you were able to read the info and clue!

Please be gentle with the retrieval device at the cache and
let me know if you find it inoperable so I can make any needed repairs.
Take Eve St. from Broad toward the canal. Cross the canal and turn left on the dirt levee road. Park on the right after you cross the railroad tracks again. The parking area is near the railroad tressel. Walk up the levee road and cross the bridge and follow the trail directly across from the bridge. The cache is on public land. The trailhead
coordinates are N 33 29.901 W 081 59.810.
Note: YELLOWBIRD can also be accessed by taking Milledge Road to the end and park in the city parking area. Cross the bridge and it's a short hike to the trailhead. This will allow you to avoid the dirt and sometimes muddy roads!
