Park in the Holiday Inn lower parking
lot, accessed from behind McDonald's on McKnight Road. Look for a
short path off the north side of the driveway, marked with an
upright 4"x4" post. Take this path and go in about 30 feet and cut
off it at an angle to the left, bushwhacking to the trailhead
waypoint. The trail is usually well groomed and has the Stations of
the Cross along it, leading you through the wooded area to an
outdoor worship area. A nice place to sit and reflect or just have
a few minutes of peace.
This is a two stage cache. The first
objective is to find a white plastic 35mm film canister which
contains the coordinates of the final stage. You can stay on the
trail, no need to bushwhack until you are close to the
final.
You are ultimately looking for a small
green plastic decon kit box. Only small trade items will fit in
this cache. It is important to snap the lid down firmly and
completely to keep the container watertight. I have also put the
container inside two plastic bags, one inside the other. Please
replace the cache as you found it and rehide it
well.
