I was working the computer scouting out potential caches when I notice no caches were coming up in the S.W. part of Wharton. Why is that? I don't know. I guess I'm going to find out one way or the other. On the way to the site I did see evidence of recent hunting so that may have something to do with it. However, lately I've seen evidence of hunting in a lot of places. Maybe I'm spending too much time in the woods? Just use caution and wear BLAZE ORANGE when it's hunting season.
This is an easy to get to location right off Chew Road. It's a nice big dirt road with no puddles (at least today) for those of us that are 4x4 impaired. If you prefer to park it's an easy walk in from the asphalt.
Once you get to ground zero you may have to keep looking and don't make any assumptions about the first thing you see.
Please return the entire cache site back to how it was when you approached. That way the next person can enjoy it too.
The answer is yes I found that thing right near by and decided to incorporate into the cache.
