Geocache Description:

CONGRATULATIONS TO GOTPPL FOR FIRST TO FIND!

CAUTION: If you are caching during the winter thaw or after a very heavy rainfall, please use EXTREME CAUTION as the Thames River can be high, fast and dangerous. The cache is located near the river (when the water is high). The slope to the cache can also be quite slippery.

CONTAINER: A black taped thermous which originally contained a TY Teddy Bear, dog leash, clip watch, measuring tape, calculator, snowman brooch, Travel Bug and First to Find prize.

Please e-mail owner or make a notation if this cache needs maintenance or replenishment. Many thanks

PARKING: Parking near entrance to trail. Trail entrance at: 42 58.253N, 081 11.783W. Municipally located between 1034 & 1038 Shelborne Place. (Note that Shelborne Place is at the end of Shelborne Street.) This greenspace is not too far away from the intersection of Highbury & Commissioners Roads, London. Enter the subdivision using Devron (between Tim Horton's & the Fire Hall).

PARKING NOTE: I have noticed that some cachers have done "Fanatical Foofy's Car Lot" either immediately before or after "Centre of Attention" taking a short-cut. Even though these two caches are a short walk from each other, please note that, by using the short cut, you will need to hop over a creek which, at times, can be very high. I suggest that you use the posted parking coordinates instead of taking the short cut, especially during winter thaw or after a heavy rainfall.
