How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A fairly easy jaunt to the shoreline with a fair (10 foot) downclimb. An old rope is provided by the locals to help getting up and down though it can not be relied upon due to aging. You can climb up and down without it but watch your step!

Cache is NOT under old lumber...stay away from lumber and if near lumber, please watch for nails.

No heavy lifting or wading required.

This hidden lookout near Milton Point provides the "dash and grab" geo-cacher with a quick find, a secluded picnic spot or a splendid vantage point from where to admire Bateau Channel of the St-Lawrence. If it was not for geocaching, I might never have found this small gem in Milton Lookout Park...and through geocaching, you will discover it as well! Enjoy!

Note: You will find that your GPSr is no longer your best friend. Satellite visibility on the shore line with the small cliff to the North is horrible (hence the difficulty rating - coupled with the many possible hide locations). Your GPSr accuracy may jump to as bad as +/-35 metres. You are down the rope and on the shoreline...start your search!

Congratulations to Yorkshire for being the FTF!
