Welcome to Tongala...
With many motorist having no real reason to travel through let alone stop at Tongala this small town is well worth a visit. I could of made this cache a multi with so many intresting plaques and things to see i wouldn't know where to start. Why not check out the park which is about 200meters from the cache. There is a toilet block which some what resembles a infomation centre with all the write ups and photos of local achivements. Not far from here is a bronze statue honouring the lighthorse soldiers and also there horses. A little further is an avenune of honour where trees have been planted and plaques made although the trees are young once they mature i am sure they will make a great walk way and lets not forget the golden cow centre. You will just have to find out what this is all about yourselves. But for those who are here to cache I think you shall enjoy this one. There shouldn't be many muggles about so you should be left alone during your searching although these smaller country towns with there bush telegraph and friendy country curiousity can surprise. Never the less with a treffic play ground/park, toilets and BBQs close by this pretty town has something for everyone enjoy the town and the search good luck Silver Dice
